Yep, if it wasn't for the price of gas right now, I would go every weekend. Still hard to stay home.

It is exciting.
There is a guy at our lease that shows up the Friday before opening day to fill feeders. Sure he shoots deer, but he misses the biggest reason that that most of are looking for. The months of scouting, clearing, setting up; it ain't work, it is a blast.

Going tomorrow to fill feaders, clear brush, fix cabin etc. Love this time of year! luckily we were blessed with a nonsummer. typically tomorrow would be 98 on average. I'm especially thankful people like TG dont deer hunt. keep up the good work, big!

I guess I am very very lucky where I hunt is about 8 or so miles from my house. I go out there every day to work at the ranch and I see the feeder every day. I do not go out to my blind or feeder all of the time but I can see it when I want to. It is good!

I love going to my lease, but sometimes life gets in the way. My place is 4.5hrs from my house. I wish it were 8 miles. I've managed to go 4 times since August 1st. I guess that's not too bad. Headed out there again next weekend. Blessed to have some buddies that live very close and keep an eye on things. Have fun this weekend and GO POKES!!!
