I have broke in my 65 creedmoor barrel in now it's got 226 rounds down the tube. The groups have shrunk and seems to have settled down 3/4 inch groups at 100 to what now is sub 1/2". It will do it all day long. This ruger hawkeye predator has really blown me away with good it shoots with factory ammo. It will shoot em all but shoots 129 sst the best.

I've looked at getting that rifle and caliber combo, was concerned with it being too heavy for a walking deer rifle as well as a notorious heavy ruger factory trigger. What are your thoughts? Obviously your' sis performing very well on the range.

Mine weighs 10 pounds loaded with a bipod and sling attached. The hawkeye predator has the adjustable trigger. Mine was perfect out of the box foe me so I didn't mess with it.

The 129 SST is very accurate for me. I don't shoot factory, buy my 6.5 reloads are consistently .5 moa or better at 100.

Factory ammunition is about 10x better than it used to be also.
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.
