Posting this lease opportunity for a family I have known for sometime. I am a professional wildlife biologist and while I have never worked on this ranch I have been on other ranches the family owns and they serious conservationists and excellent wildlife stewards. They are looking for a group of conservation-minded hunters for their unique property managed exclusively for wildlife and habitat conservation. PM if you are part of a group that is interested. I'm able to check in here early morning and in the evening.
· 4500 acres in Real County
· 2 hours west of San Antonio
· Up to 10 hunters (no sub leasing, no outfitters, principals only)
· Up to 40 free hunt days for hunting guests
· Base lease price $21,000. Includes management white-tail, Turkeys, Axis, Black Buck, Aoudad, Hawaiian Sheep,
Corsicana Sheep, Spanish Goats, and feral goats
· $1,000 kill fee for trophies (mature white-tails and male exotics, limit one mature white-tail per hunter)
· Fishing pond
· Lease period October 1st – January 31st
· Hunt Period 1st weekend of November – January 31st, plus two weekends of spring turkey season
· Furnished double-wide trailer water and electrical included
