Cabela's First Flight breathable will be my next pair.
I'm currently using the Cabela's 1600 Mag neoprene.

It's just depends if your warm or cold natured. Some of these hot blooded guys on here wear breathable waders with only a jock strap underneath to break ice and hunt in 20 degrees and sleet. Others like me get cold so I like the 1600 when it's 40 in the morning. Whatever you choose get the cabelas brand and keep the recipt. The cabelas have a lifetime warranty

X2 I have swapped out cabelas breathables last 2 years- very dry, breathable and light- but do come apart pretty easily if u are tough on them

Have a pair since 1998- 1400-1600's not sure.
Need glue job a few times- great cold weTher waders. I prefer breathables and layering up w UA

Not so good, they last 1-3 years, I stopped buying them. Cabelas appear to be better quality.

I always get Cabalas. If you are going to be riding in a boat, go with neoprene, it is safer than breathable, and you will need it. 3mm works fine for me, and these are cheaper, $119 on sale now for the camo, they are always on sale. I'm going to get a second pair for my kid. If you walk in I like the breathable, I have had the dry plus, currently have the Northern Flight. For long walkin or very warm days the jean waders are the ticket, real nice lace-up built-in boots, I love these for teal season...

The Cabela's breathables are good. Especially if you have to walk in a ways they won't swamp you up quite as bad.
But there are a couple of negatives. The boots aren't very sturdy, I've cut a chunk out of them just walking into a stump under water. Also, if you are on the tall side like me you need to know the material does not stretch and the legs don't have a lot of extra length. That means getting out of a layout blind makes you feel like a drunk turtle stuck on its back cuz you can't bend your knees.

I like the 1600s, Id rather be warm than cold. Taken them back twice for issues that I caused, exchanged no problem.

Cabela breathable from the bargain cave along with a cold weather pair. I don't know the specs of either other than the breathables are great for warmer weather and the others I am sure would allow me to stay warm in sub-zero temps. They are really thick and you can overheat in minutes if you are not careful. Both very good quality and have lasted now 2 seasons.

Whatever you choose get the cabelas brand and keep the recipt. The cabelas have a lifetime warranty Agreed, just switched out a pair I got 2 years ago because the rubber in the boots was cracking. They ordered me a brand new pair, plus, since they were on sale, they gave me a gift card for the difference in price.

I know neoprene are safe, are breathables really riskier in a boat? You will retain heat better in neoprene, it's like a wetsuit. Neoprene floats as well, although I always wear a life vest. In the boat I wear neoprene waders, wader belt, and life vest.

I got hip boots, breathables, and supermag 1600, just depends on the weather. Well, except the hip boots. As soon as you wear them you will walk deeper than them, or it'll rain like hell and your butt will be wet.
