Hey yall about to buy a new bow tomorrow! I would like to put a good stabilizer on it that can limit some of the hand shock and kick. Can yall recommend a good stabilizer?

A bow stabilizer’s primary function is NOT to limit hand shock and kick, although one might help with that. If shock and kick reduction is your goal save your money. The primary role of a stabilizer should be to help you hold the bow steady while at full draw and to help eliminate bow torque upon arrow release.

The easiest way to help you hold a bow steady is to add weight. However, bow torque is also a factor. To help reduce bow torque move that weight forward, which an effective stabilizer is built that way.

A stabilizer is only worth adding to your bow if it helps you put an arrow closer to where you want it. Just something to think about.

i like bee stinger, i have a pro hunter and use all the weight it comes with. i feel more comfortable with that than a lighter setup. thats just my preference. i had a hoyt blade stab on there originally and decided to take it off.

I just picked up a Bee Stinger Sport Hunter Xtreme Stabilizer 8" to replace a 4 or 5" Octane my bow came with and i can tell a noticable difference. I am pleased with my upgrade.
