I am trending towards buying the 3x12x56 for my whitetail rig. Any thoughts or experiences positive or negative. I have a budget on a scope of about a grand. I have read a lot of positive things about this scope but would like some real world experienced advice if anyone has any.
How come everybody I meet is a deer hunting expert?

I have a Meopro 7x50 1", a Meostar R1 7x56 1:, and a Meostar 4-16x44 30mm. All three are excellent scopes. My only criticism of the 4-16 is that it's physically quite large. All of the glass is very nice.

I have the Meostar 3x12x56 on my CZ. This will be my first deer season with it, but based on range time, I really like the first focal plane and the clarity is comparable to my Swaro Z3.

Thanks for the input. I am fixing to pull the trigger so to speak on purchasing this scope.

I have Meopta on my browning 270 and it has been great. Definitely recommend them.

What caliber is your whitetail rig?...could be more scope than you need...nothing wrong with the scopes though, you may not need that much scope depending on your caliber...

This scope will be on a 300 WM. I hunt big country and have taken WT out to 500 yds.
