Out working on a feeder, buddy reading work emails in truck. I come out of the woods and this pig is smack dab in the road 20 yards in front of truck. Buddy never even saw it as grass is high and it just popped out. I walk to the truck, open the door and pig has disappeared back into tall grass but he's big enough that I can follow the sway of the hay. He's headed for the woods. I run around a corner of trees, hit a knee and put the crosshairs where I think he'll appear between trees. He did and now he's dead. Wasn't even meaning to hunt.

Had to use a flash, sun wasn't up all the way and dark back in those bottoms.

LOL, was just razing you, looks like a decent sized hog though! I have only shot a few (4-5). haven't had a place with a hog problem/population , so actually don't have a clue what is a big one , or even average?

He was fat, I'd put him around 170 based on how hard it was to drag him out.
