Have an opportunity to hunt some private land near douglassville. Anyone familiar with the area and could tell me what I should expect. I.e. terrain, deer size, and population... I know this is such a broad question with lots of variables, just looking for an idea.. Thanks

 to the forum. Area has plenty of deer and trophy potential. Lots of small properties and hunting pressure. Poaching by locals can be a problem. Terrain is creeks, rolling hills, clear cuts. Find the white oaks and you will find the deer.

I appreciate that.... This will be my first year back in the woods here in Texas... Got spoiled hunting albemarle and orange county Virgina... Looking forward to it....
