Checked probably 200 birds on the opener for bands, none with a band, and out of the 50 or so hunters I talked to most had heard of banding dove but no one had seen a banded one. Anyone been fortunate enough to kill one with some jewelry?
Arise.Kill.Eat -Acts 10:13 I have read a bunch of stuff on the internet about Star Wars but that does not mean I can skin a deer with a light saber.

My dad shot a banded mourning dove outside Yuma, Az. Had a friend shoot a pigeon with a band last year - it was flying with the doves but lower and slower...

My girlfriend shot one several years ago in south Texas and it was banded at the WMA next door.
I'm with GK because I like salty old dudes.
