This season, how many public lakes have you scounted and how many have you hunted?

For me this season, I have scounted 5 and hunted 3.

scouted 4, hunted 2. Never will I ever hunt one of them again because there are far to many idiots for me to handle anymore. I was in EMT school last duck season which left me with every morning open....and I hunted 4-5 days a week ...Don't recall this many Barney's..think it's gotten worse this year.

Scouted 6, hunted 4. I'll be scouting one more and hunting it if I find ducks in the next couple of weeks. Last year it held birds late season so I'm hoping for the same this year.

Scouted 2 hunted 2 up until today when I scouted the 3rd...will be hunting it this weekend and would like to apologoize in advance to all the waterfowl that will be slain...if today was any indication, the dux around here are in for a rough January.

Scouted one while deer hunting. Have only hunted private so far.

In Kansas - Scouted 3 and hunted 3 In Texas - none this year

2 and 2 this year. Although I've made 3 trips to scout one and only hunted it twice.

Scouted - every puddle of water I drive by.
Hunted - 2 so far.

Scouted 4 bay systems and ALL their back lakes with 9" of water or more! Hunted 2 different spots all year.

Scouted 2 public lakes, and 1 private tank. Only hunted 1 public lake, and no birds at the private tank.

6 lakes scouted, hunted 5...3 bay systems scouted, hunted 3...2 river systems scouted, hunted 1.

9 different bodies of water I have hunted this year and never hunted the same spot on any water more than once.

scouted 4, hunted 2, plus the Colorado and Navasota, but I am not counting those.

Never scouted. Just showed up at LST (never a line at the boat ramp during that time) and just follow the shooting.

I joined every waterfowl forum on the intraweb and did a search for "public lakes"! Got me all kinds of spots and didn't use no gas! Every lake I visited with full parking lot, I just sat back and marked all the spots where I heard lots of shooting. Got me more spots located than I'll ever be able to hunt by myself, so I'll be e-mailing all my friends some of my left-over spots!

One lake, move away from the shooting and most of the time it works. We don't have a boat "yet" so we have to pack in. I can get to some rather oddball places that a lot of the guys with boats either can't or won't go until they here us shooting. The next weekend they seem to find us. I just wish we were putting ducks on the water to match our shooting, on second thought "no" because then I'd have way to many ducks. I just need to shoot less and get more ducks. Oh well I'll have all of spring and summer to work on that.

Scouted 1 and Hunted 1 for me too... no reason to move yet! There's alot of places I wish I had scouted though. I have to resort to (gasp) Cyber-scouting

I only hunt and scout one public lake.

Private, I have scouted about 20-25 and hunted 5

I just listen for gunshots and set up 100 yards down the way..

They aint like they use to be .
