54.99 ESTATE rounds from academy did the job on opening day for me last year only used 19 rounds, no need to get expensive rounds those will do the trick also have hear good things about the Rio rounds

Buy Heavy game loads. 1 1/8 oz, 7.5 or 8 shot.
Rio is a very good load right now.
Of course Winchester and Remington are hard to beat.

put the shot where the bird is GOING to be.

The last couple of years, I've shot the Rio 7.5 or 8. Cheap and work fine.

Walmart sells 1 1/8oz Heavy Game Loads in a 4 pack (100 rounds) in 8 shot for $20. These are Federal. They have Winchester in 7.5 shot for $23.97.

I always use heavy dove loads which are 1 1/8oz shot. You sacrifice speed (these are 1200fps while 1oz are closer to 1290fps), but I think I'd rather have the knockdown vs speed.

I use whatevers on sale. Rio's are good and a clean shooting round.
If you want more knock down power or are looking at long shots then the hi brass Is what you want. Remington express long range Is a good choice but pricey as are most all your hi brass rounds.

Anything that shoots. 7.5 and 8s are great. I actually prefer 6s, especially in mid season when shots get a little longer.
