Warm (don't overdo it)the barrel up with torch or by shooting and then use a good solvent like Liquid Wrench. Then when cool do it again. A few times with this routine should break them loose. Sometime heating and then cooling quickly will bust them loose.

B G Products makes a product called Enforce that many of the mechanics swear by as far as getting stuck bolts, etc. loose. I've used it with great success on many things.

Soak the end of the barrel in penetrating lube for a day or two, try it. If that doesn't work soak it again and then go out and out a box of shells through it as fast as you can and try it immediately. If that doesn't work, gunsmith.

I always remove my chokes after shooting, clean them up and leave them out until the next time I go out to shoot. Good luck getting them out.

shoot it till it gets hot and try to get them out with a choke wrench or you could just use a propane torch

brother sent me this awhile back, saved it in case I needed
kind of interesting
April 2007 "Machinist's Workshop" magazine comparison test wrote:
They arranged a subjective test of all the popular penetrates with the control being the torque required to remove the nut from a "scientifically rusted" environment.
Penetrating oil ...... Average load ..... Price per fluid ounce None .................... 516 pounds WD-40 .................. 238 pounds ...... $0.25 PB Blaster .............. 214 pounds ...... $0.35 Liquid Wrench ......... 127 pounds ...... $0.21 Kano Kroil ............... 106 pounds ...... $0.75 ATF-Acetone mix ....... 53 pounds ...... $0.10 (50/50 mix)
The ATF-Acetone mix was a "home brew" mix of 50 - 50 automatic transmission fluid and acetone.
Note the "home brew" was better than any commercial product in this one particular test.
Note also that "Liquid Wrench" is about as good as "Kroil" for about 20% of the price.

if the barrels are soldered, don't heat them. next time, invest in some choke tube lube, which is anti seize lube. use a light film on your tubes, and on your pivot on any break action. i also use it on the nipples of my percussion muzzleloaders. i understand the in line shooters use some kind or another on their breech plugs.

This might sound counter-intuitive, but if soaking in stuff doesn't work try TIGHTENING them just to break the built up crap in the threads loose, then back them out. I'd try this before going with a blue wrench.

you don't have to get red hot, sometimes a hair dryer will do it, the "try tightening will sometime work" especially after a bit of heat

Will take 3 or 4 hands, but after the soaking in your favorite flavor of penetrant, put the choke tube wrench in, and try to "turn" it with a hammer. Will need to keep the wrench forced in the front of the tube. Try both directions. And do not over do it, but sometimes the shock will loosen things a bit. Or if it is a remington wrench, use a 3/8" impact wrench. Had to do that on some choke tubes over the years.
In God we trust, all others get run through TCIC. Prior Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance. Lack of Planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.

Kroil is GOOD STUFF! Get a small jar and put enough kroil in it to stand the barrel upright so that the chokes are completely submerged and let it sit over night. Then lock the barrel in a PADDED vise and insert a strong choke wrench and take a hammer and LIGHTLY tap, tap, tap on it a couple times for each choke; if they don't break loose then let it sit again for a couple of hours and repeat.

Mousemilk, works better than Kroil IMO. And it's a lot less expensive. It's hard to find, but worth the search.
