So far I have been unable to locate anyone that has the Ithaca 37 in stock.
Thanks for the suggestion on the Benelli Nova, it is within my price range but I wonder why the longest barrel on the 20ga. is 26"?

I just picked up a 1970's model 20ga Wingmaster with a fixed IC choke. Sweet gun and nothing like the Remington's put out today.

Buzzsaw and Swarley, thanks for throwing the Benelli Nova into the mix. The Nova has good reviews, I like the idea of a cameo gun for dove hunting, I like synthetic stocks, I like the way it felt and Cabela's had it on sale so I bought it. My decision came down this way, I have owned mostly Remington, Express and Wingmaster, my whole hunting life and I was ready to try something new, the Ithaca 37 was impossible to find where I was looking, the Browning BPS was difficult to find and was 1/2lb heavier than the others. While at Cabela's I looked at the Nova and Wingmaster side by side, the Nova felt better when I mounted it and it was $200 cheaper than the WM.

Thanks for all of your inputs, my search is over. In a couple of weeks I will know if I made the right choice.

TB

I've shot the new Ithaca 37 in 16ga and 28ga. I own the 28ga model. Awesome guns! Made in the USA!
