Planning on a bucket list trip to dove hunt in Argentina next spring. After a week or two of research my hunting partner and I are more confused than ever on who to book with and what lodges to consider. Had no idea there so many to choose from. This will probably be a one time thing for us and we want to get it right. Any recommendations from those that have been would certainly be appreciated.

I have been with Louis Sier which is Sier Safaris. We really enjoyed our trip and it was first class all the way around. Their lodge is next to the hunting ground so we never traveled over 15 minutes to hunt. Our package included 2500 shells which wasn't near enough but helped manage our cost. We bought a few extras but didn't get carried away. You could have shot all the pocket book could have handled on our tirp.
I would definately book again through Sier. Check them out.

I also used Louis Sier and had the time of my life. Agree with everything said above. Plan on going back one more time. A good friend and girlfriend went with me and they went back the next year and got married there.
Tigger If it isn't white it is not a birddog.
KC Lying is lying. Don't bitch about one doing it and condone another. That's called hypocrisy. _________________

I have been 6 times with Paco Riestra of Argentina Bird Hunts, he is one of the best in the business and has been doing it for a very long time. There are lots of newcomers that are booking hunts, but don't have the best areas. He has excellent areas, estancias, and staff. He has the 2,500 shell packages, as well.
You can check out their website, Argentinabirdhunts.com
He has excellent pigeon, duck and perdiz hunting as well, if you go during their winter.
Use a shoulder pad from the very first hunt, those that don't regret it.
I always used a pump gun Remington 870s, autos get very dirty with the large number of shells.
Get yourself a rubber thumb cover, thumb while get raw from putting shells in your gun.
Feel free to give me a call, if you like, 903-404-1010.
Good luck Rick
