I won't hunt hard but will hunt a lot. Hunting hard is hiking the mountains of Montana like I did last year for ten days. Sitting around waiting on whitetail is not hard but I will chase some coyotes and antelope in New Mexico then head to Ohio for a few days of sitting around waiting on whitetail then drive around the bottom of Lake Erie and sit around in Michigan waiting on a whitetail. Then a few weeks around Jack and Young counties shooting everything I can with a bow. Then lots of ducks and my kid wants to do more coyote hunting this year so that should take us up to high school baseball season which will stop all hunting for a few months. The hardest part about it is working through this 100 degree heat so I can take off a few months to do it all.

I'll hunt a lot of days for sure but I'll do it the easy way nothing hard anymore

Got a full week planned in October bowhunting. I hunt every weekend when my job allows but it seems we get swamped with tight deadlines every year when hunting season arrives. This year is shaping up that way too. Im just glad to have a good job these days.

During rifle season I'll be hunting almost every day unless I burn all 3 of my buck tags and since I have places close together in 3 different counties it's possible but not likely. Every day after work I head straight to the stand and morning and evening on weekends the only time I won't be hunting is when the Cowboys are playing.

I have no fingernails left... dove and teal season will get me just enough fix to get through september... then its game on.... I will not sleep much... hunt every hour im not with my boy or at work... ill live off of whatever i shoot or tuna and poptarts... my eyes will have bags under them by november and coffee/snuff will be my best friend... i will stop talking to most of yall.... out of respect of corse... since i wont be really concentrating on the converstation... ill go through two pairs of boots, three hats, and my lucky socks will be standing by thereself next to my boots just waiting for that alarm to go off... my house will be a wreck... seriously... bad...
oh... and ill spoon my bow at night... da ladies get shut off after sepetmeber.... its really hard to make them understand but they aint got a choice you know...

I save all my vacation except for 2 weeks that I use for family vacation time, and the other 2 weeks are mine for hunting. I can't wait to get my extra week vacation in 2 years.
