A Christoval family is reeling after one of their horses was attacked by a mountain lion yesterday evening. Kim Zentner said her horse, Domino, was attacked after her husband let the the animals out of their pen at the couple’s home near the Vineyard in Christoval, in southern Tom Green County. http://sanangelolive.com/news/2014-08-14/mountain-lion-attacks-horse-near-christoval

I hunted a ranch just south of Christoval years ago and saw two different lions in the two years we were there.

I live in Freer Texas and big cats are'nt as rare as some people think.We have a couple come through every year!
