I see dove leases for $250.00 a year in the Katy, Waller, brookshire aria on craigslist. Any one know if they are any good? Someone told me one time that he was on one and did not see a lot of doves. Just thought I would ask here before I payed out the $$.

I live in Cypress and have not seen dove or ducks on the Katy Prairie in a long time and used to hunt the area.
Don't talk the talk if you didn't walk the walk.

I only use WGO in that area, and his season lease has been full for over a month. We normally shoot a few on the openers.
Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden. Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

You are welcome to make a day hunt with us on the weekends. Our south zone opener should be a good one! www.DoveBucket.com

Thanks for all of the info. I think I will keep my $$ and go on some day hunts and do the public land.
