Ive been feeding for 4 years now on our 12 acre farm in Canton. I am thinking of allowing my daughter to shoot this as her first buck. Would you make this decision on this deer in this area? He is by far the largest buck I have seen in 4 years. Picture is from a month ago.

Go for it and make the girl happy! However, don't discredit the area too much for holding the occasional really big buck. Two years ago my brother in law and I saw two absolutely giant east TX bucks on a place around Wills Point one night while predator hunting. No we didn't shoot one despite the stereotype given to most East Texans.
