Anyone a regular there? Starting league there Wednesday, will be shooting 20ga O/U.
What choke combination will work best?

Woods is a short presentation course. Cyl and imp cyl. Meadows is a super sport course with longer faster targets. might step it up a bit if your shooting it.

I shoot there weekly. You wont need any more choke than an IC on either course. Unless there is a tournament the targets are set very mild for corporate events and beginners.

Shot my first night of SC league's last night at Elm Fork (Woods Course). Had a blast !!! Think I'm going to really like it.
I was VERY fortunate to have help my first time out. 5 Stand Dan was kind enough to show up just to help me get started. Dan is a great guy and a hell of a shot gunner !!!! He's Well known here on the THF. His friend Stacey joined us and we all had fun.. Looking forward to next Wednesday.
I was shooting a Browning 725 Sporting, 20ga and the skeet and IC seemed to be fine.
I hit some I shoulda missed and missed some I shoulda hit....sound familiar???

Sounds like you got the fever. Don't trade in that 725 for a 20,000.00 gun
If it bleeds I can KILL IT

Second Sporting Clays league shoot last night, Woods Course, stations 7-12. One of my squad member's got his eyes dilated and the other , well, I got confused, since it's my second time shooting this crazy game, I went to station 1 and waited there. Anyway it was to my good fortune. A squad of REALLY GREAT shooters let me join them. One of the guys shot 50 straight and I don't think the others lost 5 birds between them. It was great !!! Looking forward to next Wednesday night!!!
