I need a good green chile hot sauce. Does anyone have a recipe? Mainly I need it for dipping chips in. I have to cook for my sons football team and need some dipping sauces. Thanks

I have a pretty good recipe.
1. Open can of stokes pork green Chile sauce.
2. Put it on the oven.
3. Add bacon bits.

Stokes is tough to beat and I prefer it over quite a few green Chiles.

Smoke roast, blister, peel and seed Hatch green chiles. Coarse chop onions and a few tomatoes. Add comino, garlic, cilantro chopped. Stir together. Chop in a blender for just a few seconds. Add to sauce pan with a bit of water and a little sugar. Stir and heat to warm just to break down the flavors to melt together. Immediately cool uncovered in fridge. If you want it hotter, you can either freeze the chiles first or leave the seeds in after roast, or both.
