Anyone have any information or website about this lake? Gregg and Rusk county. I cannot find anything about it anywhere, access fishing or anything. I am assuming TPWD is not in charge of it.

Thanks for any info

Lake Cherokee is a private lake. You have to be a home owner/ property owner to have access to the lake. They regulate it pretty tight. You have to have a sticker on your boat and a card that looks like a license on you at all times while on the lake.

Yep, it's a shareholder lake owned by Trust of 1500 shareholders. Google Cherokee Water Company instead of Lake Cherokee and you will find the contact info.
