What is the closest town and how far are you from it? Is it just weeds and grass or is it brush? I might know someone if you are close to me.

If it's a mix of grass and weeds (with a decent amount of grass) you might find someone through a local feed store to cut and bail it just for the hay if they can get their equipment in easily. Going that route it really doesn't even matter what kind of grass it is. Coastal, switch grass, blue stem, it'll all bail good and make good silage or winter hay. It'll take a couple days bailing vs. shredding but it's cleaned up much nicer after bailing.

Stop by the Stamford Farmers Coop and ask around for somebody. Most farmers won't want to mess with it, but one of their kids might want to earn a some dollars. It probably won't be cheap, diesel is expensive, gas the same and today's tractors are made out of gold and silver.
If you are out towards Munday, check the gin out there, not sure on the name of it or if it is even still in operation. Some of the Coops might even have a list of people in the area that are willing to do this kind of work.
