Timely moisture and slow drawdowns is sure getting the good stuff growing. About 10-15% coverage on banks Plant some Jap in week or 2. Browntop looking good from June planting. Hopefully some moisture stays around every week or so. Post some pics when I make it out there next week

Is that around a pond? I have to get something growing to help clear the muddy water in my pond but not having any luck with anything I've tried so far.

Smartweed is perennial. Natural stuff.

Bag of sand and paper lunch sacks, wet sand, throw some grass in, roll the top down and toss out in water less than 2' deep, preferably less than 6" since your water is stained, the sand will sink and the sack will dissolve in a few days, and then the fun begins.
