I just reinforced my hog panel to keep the hogs out and started throwing these golden nuggets and corn. Has anyone had any luck with this stuff? I have heard stories of seeing twice as many deer after using this.. just thought it was worth a try! its my first year on a new lease up in Jean (between Olney and Graham) and I have no idea what to expect seeing that I have hunted west Texas all my life. Figured I would do anything I can to draw the deer in!

Deer will eat the once they learn. Don't think it will double your population though.

I have used it and the deer seem to like it. Can't say it is going to be a miracle attractant and see tons more deer or different deer than are in your area to begin with. Definately don't use it in a spin feeder though.

Why not use it in a spin feeder? Bag said it was good for spin feeders. I hope I haven't erred. I just filled several feeders with it Sunday.

Tried then right after they came out, not much luck. Mixed 50/50 with corn in 2 spin feeders, the deer picked through the nuggets to get to the corn until the nuggets got too deep then they just quit the feeders. They went back to the feeders after I shoveled the nuggets away from the feed location. Figured at least the hogs and raccoons would have at it but nothing did.
Looks like some have good luck with it but it was a waste of time and $ IMO.

I tried it once. Deer didn't want it neither did the neighbors goats when they came to the feeder.

As a rule of thumb a lot of deer attractants are high in phosphorus because a lot of deer range is somewhat short of phosphorus. If your feeding program is corn/legume based you may see a fair amount of usage. If your feeding/supplement program is balanced or there are natural sources of phosphorus it may not work. Small grains and acorns are good natural phosphorus sources.
for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype
