Plan on going out and getting me a new "duck gun". Was wondering what yall shoot, or if you have any suggestions on a gun. Thanks guys!!

Might want to give a price range to give everyone an idea what you can afford

single shot ten 54" barrel, skeet choke, and shoot 2 1/2 oz of #8 steel. I hit about a 1/4 of the birds I shoot at.

$500-$800

I use a Fabarm Lion, which is on the high side of that price range. H&K used to import them, but they do not currently have a US importer that I am aware of. It's an excellent shotgun.

auto super black eagle. You can find a good used one for the money you are looking to spend. Been shooting it for two years and not one single issue

Browning Gold Hunter, never had a problem and used it as a dang boat paddle before lol...long story...buddy has the Franchi and really likes it.

Stoeger Mod. 2000 Never have had a problem with it, and the price was right.

Painted it up before season started, now it looks good and performs good.

Benelli Nova. Not a "Cheapo" gun, not overly expensive. I've taken mine to hell and back and the only time it dosnt kill something, it's been my fault. less than your 5-800 price range, but it's also a pump, and that's what I prefer. I suppose auto's are a tad more pricy.

Shot guns will only be as accurate as the person wielding them. Just gotta pick it up and see how it feels in your arms, and how it shoots. There's some other great guns out there, just gotta find what's right for you. For me, I'll always love my Benelli.

SBEII...don't waste your money on a cheap gun if you really want a SBEII or Extrema. You'll end up getting one sooner or later anyway. Then again if you go hunting only like once or twice a year then something like a Remington 870 would work.

What does a SBEII run?

Depends on the options but $1500 for a max4 with confort tech. It's more expensive for me I figure I'll be shooting that gun for the rest of my life (or until the SBEIII comes out, lol).

I really don't care about the brand name or status of a shotgun...I look at it as a tool of death. I've been pretty happy with it.

If I were you I'd go look at all the waterfowling shotguns and not worry about price until you figure out how much the one you really like costs. At that point you'll either have to pony up for it or maybe wait. But hell you might end up liking something that costs less.

Browning BPS in Duck Blind Camo...I like it because I'm a lefty with the safety on top and bottom shell ejection its nice for me.

Benelli Super Nova, awsome gun that fits me and works no matter what. Have a Stoeger M2000, great gun also but I cant seem to hit much with it.

I have a $200 870 synthetic that I've dragged through the mud for years, and a $900 Browning Gold Hunter in pristine condition. And dang if I don't feel better shooting that old pump.
