I have one opening on a piece of property in SE Kansas. From the DFW area it is about a 5 1/2 to 6 hour drive. It is in Unit 14. There are currently 458 remaining permits for this unit and they go on sale July 1st. Non-resident Whitetail Permit is $346.96 and the license is $72.50. Lease is bow hunting only, so you will need an archery permit.

Price of the lease is $1500. There is no camping on the property. I lease out 3 properties that are in close proximity to each other and we typically stay at a local hotel or the State Park Cabins.

Property is about 350 acres (I don't have the exact acreage) and there will be two people hunting it. One is a THF forum member, Ramsey. Ramsey and the other hunter will be the only people that will be hunting the property. There is a feeder onsite and I a couple of deer stands in place. You are welcome to bring your own stuff and set up "your area" as you wish and in coordination with the existing hunting stands. Stands are "open" in that you and Ramsey will be able to hunt each others stands and any other stands that may be put up.

Feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them. There are some great deer in this area and one monster that has been on camera and seen on this property last year.

how many guys total on the 3 properties? me and a buddy have been thinking of finding something up that way, just curious of the possibility of another spot coming up within a year or two...

Two per property, property size varies. There are 2 other properties that I am trying to get and looking at getting more farther to the East with another guy on the forum.

Leon is the closest town. Pretty sure Kansas allows crossbow now. I know they did a trial period but I never looked since I don't shoot one.

Man I wish I wasn't spread out on hunts this year or I would jump all over this one.

That is an awesome area to hunt and no hogs to deal with! I have a buddy that guides on the north side of El Dorado and they kill 150 class deer every year with 180's on some years. Even if your spot doesn't show a lot of deer sign, a bruiser buck could cruise by during the rut. I would not miss hunting around the 21st of November up there (give or take 7 days each way).

Forgot to mention. If you like to duck hunt the mornings and deer hunt the afternoon/evenings like me, there is lots of public duck hunting in that area. I should have said, there is lots of phenomenal duck hunting in that area!

Figure I would post up a few more TC pics from this place and the two others we have close. All three properties are within a mile or two of each other.

This first pic is one that looks alot like the pic I posted in the OP, but the trash is on the opposite side. Next one is from the same feeder as the pic in the OP, just 2012. The last one is the deer I missed last year bang
