Those are amazing pics and I bet it was an awesome vacation. You will always want to go back to Africa. I'd like to go back through the Kruger a couple of weeks and just shoot pics. It's also amazing just to watch the animals do there thing after you put enough of them on the wall.

Finished up our first safari with my baboon and jackal . Memories of a lifetime if you love to hunt the way we do and can find a way to scratch up the dollars it is a memory of a lifetime. I will never forget this awesome hunt with my daughter and huge thanks to Omujeve for first class hunt, accommodations, and people. Especially Phillip our PH and Quentin our tracker. We start the journey home tomorrow.

I agree with you about the challenge of the black wildebeest. Last year, I made my worst--and then my best--shot on one. My first shot was off sticks at 230 yds. The shot was low, just creasing the sternum. We chased after the animal, but he was faster and pulling away. My second shot was a prayer at just over 400 yards right before the bull joined in with a group of 40 or so cows. It angled through both lungs and he fell just as he joined in the herd. I also shot a baboon on the last day of hunting. Funny how that works out.
Love your pictures and stories! We will all expect a full debriefing when you return, of course.

Awesome man. Is Dave mounting all those for y'all? Can't wait to see em all in your new trophy room. Safe travels back home.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

I can tell you this they are always moving targets they scattered and run like hell in all directions when they see a vehicle. Be prepared to shoot fast and at moving target.
