4.5 - 5.5, If you are sure he is the same deer, cull him out, if not give hime one more year. Has his rack gotten progressively bigger each year?

Straight line from head to brisket, short head, older deer, 4.5-5.5, dont know your area. Take him, nice 8pt.

He did get bigger from last year, but he still has that goofy brow tine. You can see it in velvet, but when he rubs off the velvet it breaks off. It's done that the last two years. It's a one buck county and we have some monsters, but I am more management minded than having to take one of our giants... Thanksgiving he was running does real hard... Not sure I want a buncha his offspring running around (although the damage is probably already done)...

hahaha... It's family land. I know about every deer that is shot (bowhunting only) out there... Not to mention I saw him two weeks ago.

He definitely looks big, but I dont know if I would say he's 5.5 years old. I'm leaning toward 3.5 maybe 4.5 years old. Pretty skinny neck and longer nose.

He is a old and wise deer. Since he feeds during the dark of hours he should live a long life and spawn many offsprings.
I feed Indian Corn, the deer really seem to like it and stay at the feeder longer......and longer....!

4.5 at least, even if he is 3.5 he needs to be harvested. I don't get too excited about letting a 3.5 to.4.5 year old eight pt. walk, that is that old.
