which one of these axis would likely score highest? And why? They are very similar, but not quite the same. I would appreciate any input. Thanks.

Top one would score higher. Better caudal length (not much) much better brows, and heavier. My choice would be bottom to shot. I like his shape and width. I do0n't care about score just how he would look on my wall.

Id bet they score within 5" of each other, one has better caudals (secondary points up mid ways on main beam) other has better brows. One is wider other is maybe a hair taller. Id shoot the btm buck for sure.

Id shoot the btm buck for sure. really? I figured the buck in the top picture has at least 3 inches more on the main beam and an inch or so on the brow. The only thing i like in the second picture is the shape and perhaps width of rack.

I'd shoot the top buck hands down.

I don't think I am digging the funky curve on #2s right dog catcher - and that is getting pretty nitpicky, IMO. If #1s left MB flattens out like it appears to, then #2 is my shooter. If they showed up at the same time, I'd flip a coin - heads shoot them both, tails shoot them both. It is the right only answer to this predicament.

I would be happy as heck to shoot either one. The bottom looks to have a little better mass carrying up the main beams.
