Gamo hornet goes on sale for around $100 from time to time.I have it and it shoots great. It'll do 1200 fps If you use their special ammo but otherwise around 1000.

Love my Gamo Whisper, however they kinda lied about the "whisper" part. It's still noisy, but fun and accurate.

Air Force Talon SS in .22 cal. It'll pick out a crow's eye at 75 yard.

Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Stoeger has a good one, the X10 combo with scope. 1200 fps will alloy pellets, or 1000 fps with lead. It has a barrel break, about 30lbs I think. Once scope is dialed in it is very accurate. Only drawback is it is loud and weighs as much as a center fire rifle. I think I got mine for around 200 a few years back. I need to get that out of the case again and do some backyard plinking!
