Just got back from filling feeders and free choice protein feeder in SW Young county. Things are really green though dry. Deer are hitting corn feeders pretty good, mostly in the coolness of night or early morning. The protein is getting hard as well which is nice to see since this is my first season to feed free choice. Lots of bone growing out there. Could be setting up for a successful season.

That's what we like to hear.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

Went to my lease in N Mills Co last weekend, in 3 years, I've never seen the grass this green or as tall

We're in south-central Mills County, and you're spot on. Lots of tall and very green grass. And all of our tanks are back to full, too.

Optimism is high, my friends.
