Hi All,
I'm a newbie to hogs, but I'm looking to change that. Normally hunt deer, but I want to expand my horizons. I live in KY, but I have some time off work in July and I would like to go on a road trip to hog country.
I've invested in a Gen2+ for the AR and I have a thermal scout scope. I'd really like to go on a night hunt and I'd be willing to share equipment/toys. I don't have any private land connections down south and that seems to be the main requirement for night hunting. Let me know if any of ya'll are free sometime and I'd love to bust some hogs with you.
PM me if you're interested. Looking at July 1-9 or 15-18 time frame.

Welcome cbeav there may be some members that will have land to hunt. If you could make the trip in mid august after the farmers cut the corn you will have a much greater chance for success. If you are stuck in July contact mbennet, or look up hog outfitters and guides section on this sight. Shoot them behind the ear if possible at night. They have exceptional sense of smell and fairly good hearing.

If I have a night available when you decide to do this, I will take you out as a new hunter for $350 a night with your own gear. We will let you have first shot the first time we get on some hogs. After that I will uphold my nick name as "Kill Thief".
It will be an exclusive hunt with my self and maybe one other proven shooter.
I have a deal with a nice Hotel that will lodge you for $75 a night.

If you make your way down to San Antonio TX, you can tag along with me. My friends and I go out 2 -4 times a week and we have our own night vision / thermo. We have about an 80% success rate and we always have a lot of fun. I will throw out a quick disclaimer, we do not drink nor do we allow anyone to drink on our hunts. If your okay with that, we would be glad to take you out.
My family and I would like to thank every soldier (active or inactive) for their service to this Great Country! Thank You,
