Anyone have any experience with the sportsmans condo blinds? They are made of a hard plastic, poly type material. Like the once piece design, and prices aren't too bad. Been thinking of fiberglass, but liked the look of these. Any input is appreciated.

I have not seen these before. Pretty appealing to me based on limited research - hopefully feedback is provided to your thread.

They really appealed to me as well. From what i have gathered they are a one piece design, and you can get a base where you can slide legs in. On the dealer section of their website it said they would be coming to several walmart locations in july. I hope that actually happens and i will get to take a look.

Buddy has the standard one man. It is built well, but it is too tight to move in it, so you are limited to shooting out of one window, for risk of making any noise. Plus it is HOT inside. I won't hunt it unless it is below 40 outside.

Thanks for the info. I would be looking at the 4x6 model. Is your buddies stand in the shade or in the sun? Do you know how long he has had it?

They are small, very noisy when you move, and hot as the dickens in the sun.

I have had thier 2 man for over 4 years I like it. As for as noise I put carpet on floor heat doesn't seem to be a problem when all windows are open and that's down in S. TX.

Thanks for the info. I would be looking at the 4x6 model. Is your buddies stand in the shade or in the sun? Do you know how long he has had it? It sits mainly in the sun, backed up against an oak. He has had it for eight years, only issues are the squirrels like to gnaw on the bottom edges. Pretty much wasp proof, some reason they don't like black plastic.

Walmart in Beeville has 4-5 of them sitting out front on a reduced sale.

IIRC it is this model. I think the price was $779 on them (which to me is still overpriced). I was not that impressed with them for the money. They will be lightweight and easy to move and the windows are ok. They will be hot, noisy and not sure how they will take the continuous heat in full sun. If they were in the $400 range I might consider them. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sportsman-s-Condo-SC2-Two-Person-Hunting-Blind-Black/21309956

There was a place in Halletsville that sold them on the main route thru town. Call a few area Walmarts to see what they have. Walmart uses one store in an area to clearance some items.

Thanks and Will do. My Dad has a lease out of hallettsville, so it would be on my way. I liked the looks of them, not sure by the sound of it if i would like em. I hunt in tall hardwoods, so it is shaded well. I just wanted to look at them. But if the price is as you remember, i would consider it more seriously

Called walmart in beeville, the guy wasnt much help. First i asked if he had them, he said he wasnt sure. I asked could he go check, and he did, and they had some for 799. Then, i asked were they one man or two man, and he didnt seem to understand, so i asked were they 4x4 or 4x6. He couldnt tell me what size they were for sure. He said he thought they were 4x4. It was like pullin teeth, i finally gave up

Same for me when I was there and saw them. No price so I called the store to ask, they gave me to a manager. I asked about the reduced clearance deer blinds. Took 10 minutes and came back with $990 something price. They are 4x6 I am sure.
