Unfortunately I'm not reading it real clear... I moderate a group on FB and we have someone who claims they caught a wild sow and raised it on bread etc, and now wants to sell. If it's not legal I have screenshots etc to pass along to the appropriate people.

I should clarify, they are open to anyone wanting to buy, not specifically a slaughter house or game reserve.

You can only sell a live hog to a state approved hog faculty.

You can only sell a live hog to a state approved hog faculty. You can sell hogs to individuals also.

Feral hogs are an unregulated exotic, no restrictions on sale. But, it is illegal to transport feral hogs unless they have been properly tested for disease and you possess the paperwork indicating such. The only exceptions are if the pigs are transported for slaughter. Also, hogs are not regulated through the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department but rather the Texas Animal Health Commission.

Damn and I been transporting hog all over Texas for years. Sure hope I don't get caught. In fact just last week I hauled some form a Kroger in Denton county to my home in North Tarrant County to my freezer. In case you were wondering yes it was Owens a Sausage!
