 Two Subspecies in 5 days

Well...planned on a shorter season this year only scheduled 2 hunts for myself opposed to the 5 or 6 I usually do as I am getting married on next month. I was praying for some productive hunting and the opportunity to take some nice birds and apparently God heard. First went to Junction and went after rio's...had birds talking all around me and heard a few fly off the roost. Called a bit to get them to come and investigate and 3 came in and got a look at my decoy setup and came charging...I picked out the longest beard and dropped him...7a.m. April 10th. 5 days later went to chase easterns with a friend and made it happen in one day. Didn't tag out but was a great season with some good trophies and meat in the freezer. Can't wait until next year!
