Lets have a late season instead of an early season... The water holes around home are full of them and the colors they have on them is insane compared to no plume in early season.... that is all

It's actually an interesting idea...like a late Feb/early march where we could get some fully plummed teal. IT would be sweet but it will never happen. Reason being that late like that is when they have already paired up so we would end up possibly negatively affecting they upcoming hatch. But I'm no biologist and I'm really just speaking to ducks in general...I'm not sure what bwt are doing then and if it's like other ducks.
Dear Lord please bullwhip me for saying this but I agree, Marcstar is in the lead. Please nobody use this as a quote!!!

It would be nice if they gave us at least one day or weekend late season, even if limit is only 1 bird, the goal is so some of us can shoot a fully plumed BWT.

I would go for a late weekend that would be awesome... limit it at two... and dosnt even have to be this late I would think... I been seeing them for months now some never left

For no other reason than for the field day we would have on this forum discussing it and all the dumb jokes to follow. It would be one of those deals where the jokes are so dumb and old that they somehow become funny again...if that makes sense.

They will probably stick around til mid-late May and come down in Mid October just like last year,

I was on a lease with a guy that fell for it, he was new to Texas and just joined the THF, he told a pretty funny story about driving all around Dallas looking for someone that had teal tags.

By this time in the off season there is little left to do, but make impulse buys and joke about teal tags.
I should not even be on here. I should be on the BBQ forums. It's BBQ season, got to get my head in the game.
Maybe I'll BBQ those teal I shot last weekend. Recipes anyone?
