Good deal there.
Got any details? Details on this would be nice. I wonder if the fire-proof rating is good from heat out to in as well as from in to out

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Waterproof-Super...=item33831451c4 this the lights I used, you just got to cut off the amount you need and solder a 12v power pack in line with an on/off switch. It took me about an hour to cut, run wire, solder and power up. Very rewarding in the end.

Where did you get the LEDs from. Are they plug in or battery power?

they are plug in but you have to cut them to size and run the wire and do some soldering.

I like it, looks good and lights up the interior just fine. I stuck a battery operated puck light with a photo cell in mine. Works ok, but as good as this.

Im very happy with mine, it took me about an hour to do all the work and clean up afterwards. Ive used the same setup in my kitchen under my cabnets, they look great too and make a big differance. My mom is on me to do her cabnets too.

Did you also get your power supply from them? no, I actully get my power supplys from the thrift stores for around a buck or so. These lights are dc power, 12v max! All you need is a power converter that plugs into the wall, just like what a cordless phone or some type of cordless charger power supply uses. You can use 6,7,8,or 9v but they wont be as bright as if you was to use one with a 12v output. You will need a soldering gun and solder, simply cut off the end of the cord and solder it onto the light strip and solder in a on/off switch on the positive side.

I have 3 soldering guns/irons so GTG there, may even have a transformer to somewhere, may depend on the led plug end though. hmm

its really easy, when you order the lights from ebay it takes about two weeks for them to come in as they come from hong kong, for best results make sure you get the non waterproof. They should be marked as to which side is positive and which is negative.I see your in wise co. if you find your way over in the arlington area id be happy to show how to do it, ive used these lights for everything from my rc airplanes and rc cars to installing them on my fishing boat.

Okie dokie I just wanted to make sure. Also, I take it you routed the wire to a socket by going through the bolt-holes at the bottom of the safe?

No, my safe already had a hole drilled in the back for a dehumitafirer. I just ran the wiring thru it. Once in I just tucked the wires into the corners out of site, only thing that is visable would be the lights and switch in which you have to stick your head into the unit to see them.
