Well I got this Pelican case from points at work and decided I would make it a rig to carry my antelope guns with. Hopefully my brother and I get drawn for Wyoming this September. This was my first time cutting foam to fit. It turned out fairly well I think. Holds my 257 WBY and 25-06 just fine.

I'm looking to do something similar. Where'd you pick up the foam?

The foam came with the case. I laid everything out and got it all positioned the way I wanted it. Then traced it all with a piece of white chalk. Then got after it with an Exacto knife. Multiple passes with the blade and a little bit of sawing and finally cut thru. Next time I will find a longer blade and change it more often. Got a little dull by the end.

Nice work! I have the same case. If you flip the center pad over the white chalk outlines won't show. I glued my center pad to the bottom pad with spray adhesive so it doesn't try to come up whenever I pull the rifle out. Looks nice!

Looks like some nice weapons there. How do you like the A7? I almost pulled the trigger on that gun...
Also, good job on the foam cutting!

That's a Weatherby Sub-Moa in 257 and an TC Encore in 25-06. I like the idea of gluing it to the bottom. I might just do that.

Sub MOA weatherby sounds good too! Glue it down with the foam flipped as mentioned above so the lines don't show.
