So, I find myself on a quest looking for a 32 H&R Magnum revolver (preferably an H&R or NEF with a four inch barrel). Yes I have seen a few for sale online, but I enjoy stumbling upon what I'm hunting. It's kind of like meeting a woman on the internet, it can possibly be a good experience. My fascination of this gun all started back in grade school when my kid brother who must have been nine or ten somehow bartered for one. He kept it stashed real good in an old military back pack and even though he left this earth 16 years ago, I still find new treasures when I go through his belongings. I find my self realizing to hone in on the finer things in life after a couple of failed marriages (guns and hunting). It's something I grew up doing but didn't really get back into until I moved to a small town about five years ago, the towns people reminded my so much like my brother, coonhounds, four wheel drives, etc, I found my self a little piece of heaven. Being back on the gun scene was great, being a tight wad, I didn't buy many guns in my youth, but nearly every Christmas my grandfather would give us each a nice long arm (I still have them all). My brother was more of an investor, he read extensively, did his own gunsmithing and shot daily. We were blessed to grow up on 300 acres with no neighbors, it was quite a life. But where did the 32 Mag come into the picture? My father did not want us to have pistols, not even a pellet one. Father kept his Colt Commander 38 Super hid well, as a matter of fact I shot it for the first time last year. My journey for my own 32 Mag has not been an easy one, I recently got my CHL and my second handgun purchase was a KelTec P32 and my third was a H&R 32 S&W Long. When I laid my eyes on the shiny blued revolver I thought I found my Mag, but after close inspection it was "32 S&W L" so I told the guy if I don't find a Mag, I would come back to his table. Sure enough it was still there. No Mag but I will get some practice with the Mag's kid sister. Just thought I'd share.

I have a Ruger Super Single Six in 32 H&R with a 3.75" barrel and birdshead frame and it is a pretty sweet shooter. Thinking abouthaving one of my old Marlin 32-20s rechambered in 32 H&R mag.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

A .32 Ruger will shoot four or five, maybe six different things if you're creative.
Pass the gravy.

There is a 4" h&r/nef for $225 on the Houston Texas Gun trader website. A little overpriced IMO but they are hard to find.
I've got a 2" NEF and it is a neat gun.
