How do yall accurize your rifles? I have a few Ideas on what I would do... I have a Win M70 Stainless Featherweight Pre 64 7mm RM with a Leupold VariX-III 3.5-10x50mm and a 9-13" Harris Bipod and a Weatherby Vanguard .243 with a bushnell 3-9x40mm I am interested in accurizing. Both have stock triggers but I have tweaked the triggers myself making them a little lighter.
What would yall do to make these guns or any gun more accurate?

umm you could pull the stocks and glassbed them. you could also free foat the barrels if the arent already. if that doesnt work you could try taking 1/2'' of the barrels and recrown. you could try some upward barrel pressure by the forend cap. re mount the scope and check the torque on the threads. handloading or experiment with other cartridges loadings...

WBHinton, I do a bit of stuff but the more I know, the more I determin I need to know. I will watch this thread. Here is my contribution.
If the Mod. 70 is glass bedded, I always make sure the barrel is floated so there is not metal to wood pressure point and that the three screws on the floor plate are properly tightened. Not having a weatherby, I can't remember if it has two or three. Either case a floated barrel has always performed better for me.
Next, I have experienced better performance with clean barrels. I cannot say enough about JB's bore cleaner and how it has helped me.
Now, this may not be what you are looking for but it has helped me along with reloading ammo that suits the gun.
Thanks, Jim

I was also going to say Hill country rifle accurizes. They got wy wifes remington .260 mountain rifle that went from 2" down to .50. My .375 H&H went from a couple inches to less then a inch. You can drop the gun off or you can mail it to them. Then when it's done they will ship it off ou you can pick her back up!! The recrown barrel, aluminum pillars, glassbed, check your lugs for good contact, Lap scope rings, clean and adjust trigger. The you will get a three shot group target with what factory load they used. On there website they also have a chart now, which list most ammo that they use and which calibers for the first group. If it don't group with that ammo, then they try something else. www.hillcountryrifle.com.
