 Whats a good price for a hunt on this size sheep with 2days lodging and guide?

Looking at the ram I would say he is around 30" x 32". Prices can vary of course, but I would say a good price with all that included would be in the $750-$900. Average price would be more probably more like $900 to $1100. However, you can find some great deals occasionally.

I would say the $900-$1100 is about what I see today. Live sale is costing around $600-$700 from what I have been finding offered to me.

The prices of rams has went out the roof. If you can hunt this ram for a $1000 you probably better take it.

If you want lodging, food and a guide and a ram over 35" figure on 1500 - 1750.

39 inch ram sells for 2850 on the Von Netzer ranch, the price of sheep are up. You might find some deals on one but over all prices are up.

^^^yup...Ive taken a bunch of rams on the VonNetzer....for the ram pictured it would be in that 1500-1750 range...

^^^yup...Ive taken a bunch of rams on the VonNetzer....for the ram pictured it would be in that 1500-1750 range... I think it all depends on the experience, if you want to hunt with quality people that have quality animals raised on the ranch and hunt the price will be higher ... or the cheaper ..pull up shoot one in a field and go home.

This Sheep was taken by one of my friends/Bear hunters. A last years bear hunter is a guide in Texas on several different ranches. This Sheep was 31x32 if I remember right. The cost was $1250. I have a client of mine looking at several different ranches to shoot sheep. He was just was curious and didn't think it was a fair price. By all means he believes it now with your help. Its funny how so many people have to see to believe! I guess most people lie about things and that's why this industry gets a bad wrap or why more people don't venture out on hunts in different places. I've been fortunate to have a great client base in Minnesota as a Bear guide but its those that travel get discourage. Thanks everyone for helping and bringing understanding a client of mine.
