So assuming my female is preggo... she is not registered but can be just be a monster pain in the butt...black lab...my choc is registered and a good blood line...his aunt is ammo and comes from the bayou magic blood line.. what do you think would a extremely fair asking price would be with out the effort of tracking down my females last owner to get her sires owner so I can register her. They both hunt well and tryggur my choc is a monster in the field...plenty of video and pictures to show his success...

You are probably going to get your feelings hurt with that question so I'll try to be as kind as possible. You are probably going to have an all black litter. If that is the case they are VERY common. With no way of proving any health clearances or even if these are lab puppies you will be lucky to find really good homes for all of them for free especially with a summer litter. Your best bet would be to try and register the dam and start trying to place them for free as soon as you are certain she took.

Tony is right. I would start spreading the word with your hunting buddies. People that have seen, and like how your dog hunts are more likely to take a chance on a pup. They might even tell a friend that is looking for one. You could see if some might give you the cost of vaccinations, if not give them away.
Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden. Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

The problem your going to run into, is it cost the same for basic necessities to take care of a well bred pup. People can also buy a registered lackluster pedigree black lab puppy, with no health clearances for $100. Now if your dog had accidently bred a poodle, you would have high dollar designer puppies.

I sure as heck would never just give a pup away for free unless I knew the person.
I'll take a Black Female every time.

There are facebook groups for trading and buying waterfowl gear that I'm on. I see those exact pups selling for around $200.
Good luck, and hope they find good homes.

I have a SIL who sells mutts off craigslist for $75 each. Doesn't take her long either. I would concentrate on trying to find them a good home and not advertise them as "hunting dogs." People are more than welcome to take a chance on them but there are plenty of people who just want a good dog.

Guy across the street from us has a skinny little lab bitch that gets out all the time. Got knocked up by a registered Yellow lab a couple months back that runs the county road we live on. He sold all 8 black pups for 350 a piece. They were nice looking pups though. A guess there are worth whatever a family will pay for them

I'm not positive, but I think Roux is EIC Carrier, So your female needs to be clear or the pups may turn out to be affected. Robby

Male is out of Rouxster Bleu who is EIC and CNM clear, female is a CNM carrier out of AFC Tick. The male could be a carrier.
