Going to be camping with my boys and dad in the first part of April. Any of you ever camp or visit there? We will be hunting near there and will not be there to much. But it looks like a pretty park from the pictures. Just wanted to see what you all thought about the park and camping there?

He is the one that said it would be a good place to stay. We are hunting with him next month. Wanted to camp but just found out the camp is full one of the nights. Was hoping to hear about a good site number to stay in. But no longer needed. Something must be going on around there the first week of April. Even the Hotels are costing more

I recommend booking a reservation for Guadalupe River state park a few months in advance of your trip, it gets busy early. We fished and swam last weekend and the water is still a tad chilly but not like the Frio!
