I'm bored so how about a photo post of Dash's last year/season to show what can be done with one dog. Because of some family health issues I did not get to do as much as I wanted to and did not get pictures of all our hunts, but we did get a few good hunts in and a few pictures.

Still running in some Retriever tests, but it is next hunting season that can't get here soon enough. Definately start with a hunt or two in Spring Squirrel season.

I can't leave out Blaze. She may be mostly blind after her tick disease, but I do take her out of retirement now and then like I did in September for a Resident Goose hunt after Dash hurt one of his paws the evening before.

Dash's pedigree includes FT and DC titles and he would make a great field trail dog if I fixed the problems created from running hunt tests as a puppy, like catching sluggish birds. During real hunting he tends to range a lot farther out than what I am used to, but if I decide to FT him someday that would be a bonus I guess. And that probably would only be after I get where I want to go in Retriever tests and NAVHDA. With two more passes to change his JH to JHA, I am already breaking away from pointer tests for a year or two to go hunting more. Hunting will always come first, so I doubt I will do much Field Trialing other than just for the dog to have fun out of season or when not hunting.

Thank you. And he is a good looking dog. I see no reason why he can't finish his show champion title. As long as it is not during hunting season.
