Only thing I paid any attention too was two pretty good looking female Nubian type Ibex yearlings went for $1300 each and a couple more not quite as good for $1000 each. WOW

Do they usually have a bunch of sheep on Sunday or is it slim pickings? Never been on a Sunday but thinking of going tomorrow.

You could see a few rams they had under the cat walk they will run through tomorrow. I didn't see any real big ones. I am sure they will get more in the morning. Ended up only buying seven aoudad rams.

$300-$500 or so for the 6 young ones I got and I paid $1550 for a decent one.

All the Aoudad you bought looked in good shape and not crazy wild. Last time they had one jump up with the auctioneer.

They were pretty calm aoudad. I was able to get in the trailer and cut all those darn ear tags off and not get the crap beat out of me. I don't like how they ear tag almost everything.

I have not taken any Ibex there for quite some time. When I did I would not let them ear tag. made them glue the number on the rear. They did not want to, but I told them I would not leave them if they would not.

I was surprised at how well the nannies did compared to the billies. A couple of my billies did well but the others barely made slaughter price. All in all there was a good crowd.
I agree with don the audad looked good.

Females, especially young Nubian looking types are a hot item now. I also thought the males were very weak. A person could have made some money on a few of them in a couple of years. Would have beat a CD at the bank. Blackbuck are a really hot item now. A couple of those does went for close to $400 each. Aoudad were good, but you need a really good very high fence to keep them. Plus it takes a few years to get them big.

I'm going to Raz too. And I hate those ear tags too. Reckon they understand how many folks don't go because of the ear tags? I know several guys that don't go because of that. It certainly costs them money. Just hard to quantify.
