Looking for real opinions from real hunters. Looking at 10x42 HD. Looks like good glass. How do they perform in low light conditions???

Meotpa makes great glass. Cant go wrong with them

Used a pair all last season and really liked them. No complaints at all. I have an old pair of Ziess 10x50s that I have used for 15 years and the euros are just as good. My wife uses leopold 10x50s and she likes the euros better.

What do you think about the 8x32 HD? Found a NIB pair for $635. They go for $800 in the store. Is there a substantial difference in the light gathering capability between the 8x32 and the 10x42. Both look good in daylight, low light is what concerns me.

IMO , yes. Go with the bigger ones for light gathering.

Where are you using them. I have a pair and they are heavy. Very good glass and low light capability ,

Meopta makes good stuff, one of our guys in Germany bought one of Cabela's Euros and it was Meopta boxed.
 Korea is nothing like Germany, and no amount of Army Modernization propaganda will convince me otherwise. I miss my wife and kids something fierce

Using these for deer hunting in central texas. Went ahead and purchased, but decided to go with the 8x32 HD. Absolutely amazed at the quality. Put them up against my buddy's Swarovski. Very close in quality. Lot less money!!!
