Not sure why I waited so long to do this but this was my goal to get done while on leave. We use to have ugly light blue laminate counters replaced with granite, Cabinets use to be ugly brown color now white, and I added 2 wall cabinets and 2 floor cabinets to extend counter top another 36 inches. I did everything except countertops and I think it turned out pretty good. Just gotta wait 24 hrs to install faucet while silicone dries on new sink.

Nice! Some under cabinet lighting would make that granite really stand out. Looks awesome!

Same here or I would have added more. I did put up a magnetic knife rack so that frees up a little counter space

It looks like you have a little space to the left of the sink? Or will the eat up the dining area?

I actually added 3 more ft of counter to the left of the sink if I went any further It would start getting into dinning area. I wanted to extend the wall to the right of the stove 2 ft or so but the wife didn't think it was a good idea. Should have done it anyways but oh well.

That looks great. I love the granite, especially. I need to do something like that.

I need ya to come visit Dear Old Dad and do some son do's for me!

You do dang good work...... Congrats to you. I'm sure Mrs Sapper will enjoy it.

I know mine would. She always whines about counter and cabinet space, the lack of enough!

Nicely done. The additional 36" of upper and lower cabinets is a nice chunk of space.

Sapper, one option for the micro is to cut the box that's above the ventahoods in half to het another 10-12" out of it. The staggered look of just raising that box won't look right but if you were to modify the one you have, a full size micro would go perfectly there. It may Take a little effort not to booger up the rest of them as you disassemble them but it could be done. I got faith in ya boss.
