I'm hoping to draw for an antelope tag in Wyoming. Anyone willing to share DIY antelope hunting tips for Wyoming?

A buddy and I went on a DIY WY antelope hunt a few years back. Lots and Lots of driving and glassing for us. Between the 2 of us we had 5 tags and were done in 2 days. One of the most enjoyable hunts I've ever been on. Make sure to get doe tags ... they're cheap !

I hunted antelope up there with my grandfather many, many times before he passed away. There is a ton of available public land. I strongly suggest to start hunting on the opening day. After the first few days all the herds have been shot at and get "wilder than buck sheep," as my grandfather would say. Bring good binos and enjoy everything Wyoming has to offer, it really is God's country.

I hunt Region M for deer every year and started applying in 115 for Antelope but haven't been drawn the last couple years for the Antelope. If you're looking to hunt up near Ten Sleep, let me know and I'll share with you what I know. Not really familiar with the rest of the state.

I have hunted up there several years for antelope, west of Douglas, North of Medicine Bow. If this is an area you are putting in for feel free to PM me & I will let you know what I have learned. Antelope up there can be an easy hunt or hard depending on how you want it to go. Great experience & that area is an easy draw.
