My son, a long time hunting partner and I were on the way to our last stand site to break it down for the season when we spotted a buck at the feeder. My son still had a tag so we drove back to camp to get his bow. We dropped him off about 150 yds out while we sat in the truck with it running since it was 13 degrees. About 10 min later my bud spotted a deer and I noticed it had an arrow sticking out of it. It walked within 100 yards of the truck and laid down. My son jumped in the back seat and was pretty sure he had frost bite. It isn't his best Kansas buck by far but it was a memorable one.

Cool story!

If ducks had horns I'd probably be a duck hunter.
I am a horrible deer hunter. Probably the worst. Ever.

He's a performer but not a bull rider.
