Got the great opportunity to hunt with B-man's dad again and the very great pleasure of finally getting to hunt with his sister. They came down to do some last minute meat and clean up hunting last weekend. On the last morning, as we drove around, we got to the last stop before heading back to the house and came across these standing about 200yds directly in front of us.  I gave Drew the green light on the cow and he got the job done.   Once Drew's cow went down, 11 more came up out of the draw. Guys, that was a great day! Drew and Cass thanks for coming out and making memories. I'll remeber this hunt forever.

Have a picture on work computer of decent bull hit by car on Puckett rd southest of Ft Stockton near the Oxy Century plant. Amazing whats down there!

A BP agent totaled a Tahoe on 90 west of Sanderson when she hit it just before sun up.
A big 6x6 has claimed RR2400 as his most mornings and evenings.
There is only one other free roaming herd that I have seen that was bigger than the one on us. It has 14 in it and hangs out on RR2886 about 20 miles south of I-10.
We are getting quite a big population built up down here. I knew we were having a few come through us, but 13 was a suprise.

Did the round impact through the upper palate and then into the front leg and exit on the opposite side? It looks to me like the hind looking down as the shot was taken. They are really tough animals, so congrats on taking one. Lots of meat for sure!
